fantasy flowers

These bright, over-sized blooms are the perfect way to jazz up a window display or inject some color into these grey days of early spring!   The flowers are made from crepe paper and have stems with enough flex to droop dramatically out of a tall vase.  We’ve been smiling at them since they came in on Wednesday!  Order yours today (only $4.50 each)!

getting married bachelor style

Just in case you missed Monday’s episode of Jason and Molly’s wedding… here’s what you need to know. If you attended our open house, you heard us talk about what style Generation Y prefers when it comes to flowers. Molly and Jason’s wedding supported our research. The bride Molly carried a gorgeous bouquet of white phalaenopsis orchids. Expect your Gen Y brides to gravitate toward similar bouquets with big blooms, and they don’t shy from monobotanical and monochromatic designs, either. Also, you’ve probably heard that cascades are coming back. As this bouquet shows, Gen Y has their own twist on this style. Throw everything you know about tailored teardrops away and opt for something more organic and free flowing.

This nationally televised wedding also included nods to ceremony and reception décor trend that are sure to show up in the next year. The aisle was lined with clear glass (a continuing trend) cylinders containing floating candles and blooms. Expect to see more cylinders in all shapes and sizes in events as the cube craze is fading away.  See photos of the wedding at www.lovetripper.com.
