Don’t Miss...

Okay, the secret’s out. Kat watches the Bachelor (yes every week). And while this technically can’t be called “research” it is a pop culture icon with twentysomething women (you know… those of marrying age). Even if you despise it, you will want to tune in next Monday to watch the Bachelor wedding. This wedding will be the influence of 2011 weddings. (Remember Trista and Ryan’s PINK wedding?)

Fitz Design Jewelry

Fitz Design Jewelry was all the rage at our recent open house so much so that we had to reorder our inventory! We know a lot of you will be looking to order more as prom season progresses, so we want to remind you to order early! All floral shops around the country will be experiencing prom during the same months.

This demand has already caused some of the most popular items to backorder! Look for our inventory to be restocked in a couple short weeks. You may want to place your order now so you are first in line when the new stock arrives!

To see all the available items in the line, be sure to find the “Prom and Wedding Selection Guide” found in the March edition of Florists’ Review. There is also a nice selection that can be ordered online at cuttsfloral.com. Our Power Point presentation from Sunday will be made available online so you can view tips on selling these lovely bracelets!

Flowers for the Hair

If you watched even the tiniest amount of the Olympic Figure Skating competition you were bound to notice fabric flowers tucked into the competitors’ updos. Wearing flowers in your hair is definitely a trend seen everywhere from bridal magazines to hair accessories (think headbands, pony tail holders, clips, etc!) found at the mall! Even our high school prom panel all said they would love to wear flowers in their hair--and that they would buy hair flowers themselves since they would consider them an accessory to their dress. However, don’t think you will loose out on any business because they would wear hair flower accents in addition to flowers on the wrist, arm, neck, etc. Be sure to check out our new rhinestone, ubersparkly barette from Fitz. It’s only $5.50 each! (We think even a tissue paper pompom flower could be adorable! See our how-to in Wedding Style-ish)
