Even though neither of your two twentysomethings have even been to the big apple it’s still a style icon in itself. So today travel via the web to see some French inspired big city style. Merci New York is chic and stylish inspiration for the big city bride. fresh ideas….

pixie pins

We were just introduced to these cuties last night and we are smitten! These Pixie Pins are a florists’ new best friend! Kudos to Milton Adler for coming up with a solution to finishing ribbon treatments on bouquet handles. At only 3/4” long, these Pixie Pins won’t have you worrying about sticking your brides fingers! (And you don’t have to snip pins and snag y our ribbon anymore!). We think they would also be sweet for sticking in the centers of flowers (Kermit poms, stephanotis, gerberas… you name it). Watch for them to arrive shortly in pearl, matte pewter, and black. Only $3.50 for 100 pins!

color inspiration…. twentysomething style

We are so excited to have our new camera for our Thursday Thoughts on Color...we thought we would get a jump start on Friday! We are so lucky to spend our days surrounded by beautiful items. We would like to share with you our favorite colors this week! Today’s inspiration started with the champagne swatch from David’s Bridal and guinea feathers. From there we added color in ribbon--Lyon in Steel Blue, and Charcoal double faced satin (just arrived today!). We couldn’t resist adding our favorite rose--Pink Finesse from Rosa Prima --a dusty coral. Finally… it wouldn’t be a twentysomethings look without a little bling! Florette buckle is from Fitz Design.
